A collection of real-world SEO case studies documenting technical audits, migrations, crawlability fixes, and content strategy results across multiple industries.
Real projects. Measurable results. Every case study here documents a problem I encountered,
the strategy I built — entirely through code and without relying on premium plugins — and the
outcome that followed. Executed by an experienced
SEO specialist who writes Dwi Yanti own architecture.

Technical SEO Case Studies
Technical SEO Case Studies
Deep-dive projects where I diagnosed crawlability, canonicalization, redirect chains,
and architecture problems — then fixed them with code.
Work supported by experience as a
technical SEO specialist building custom WordPress architectures from scratch.
Technical SEO
Blogger to WordPress SEO Migration
Problem
A live business site (Abdul Majid 25 Urban Residence) on Blogspot was experiencing redirect issues post-Google algorithm update, harming SERP position despite being on page 1.
Strategy
Migrated from Blogspot to self-hosted WordPress with Business hosting. Built a complete custom theme from scratch — no template — with all SEO architecture hand-coded.
Result
Rank #1 Google achieved post-migration. International occupancy increased: tenants from Korea, Japan, France, Singapore.
Portfolio site (dwiyanti.com) had duplicate content problems caused by parent/child permalink restructuring and breadcrumb changes — canonical URLs were being mishandled.
Strategy
Wrote custom logic in functions.php to handle canonical URLs for clean /slug permalinks that still display full breadcrumb paths (Home › Category › Post). No plugin used.
Result
Duplicate content eliminated. Site now dominates nearly a full SERP page for "dwi yanti seo" and "dwi yanti seo specialist" on Google.
Standard WordPress templates and SEO plugins (free tier) were insufficient for precise control. Paid plugin features were required for full SEO implementation — a cost barrier for the client.
Strategy
Built an entirely custom WordPress theme from pure code — HTML, CSS, PHP, no starter template — with SEO meta, Schema markup, canonical, and breadcrumb logic all hand-written. Integrated a custom PHP dashboard (separate database config) into WordPress pages without config conflicts.
Result
Better SERP results than plugin-based approach. Schema validated. Site indexed within 6 hours of launch, landing page 1 rank 4–6, later rising to rank 1. AI tools (Bing Copilot) now surface Dwi Yanti by name for relevant queries.
The results in these case studies reflect the same methodology used across my
technical SEO specialist services —
where site architecture, crawlability, and indexation are engineered from code,
not configured through plugins.

Fixing Redirect Problems After Algorithm Update
Problem
Google algorithm changes triggered unexpected redirect chains on urbanresidence.id (Blogspot + custom domain). Page 1 position was maintained but instability was unacceptable.
Strategy
Diagnosed via redirect checker and GSC. Identified Blogspot's inherent redirect limitations. Made the strategic call to migrate platform entirely rather than patch an unfixable issue.
Result
Redirect chain eliminated. Site stabilized at Google Page 1, Rank #1 post-migration to WordPress self-hosted.
Client revised SEO-optimized copy with their own wording. Ranking dropped from page 1 to page 5 on Google and Bing within days of the change.
Strategy
Identified which content changes broke SEO signals. Re-wrote copy to balance client voice with proper heading hierarchy, keyword density, and semantic structure.
Result
Recovered to Page 1 on both Google and Bing. Demonstrated that SEO copy must be treated as technical asset, not just marketing text.
Content that ranks requires more than good writing. These cases show how
SEO strategy and content structure work
together — including how modern AI-generated answers (SGE / AEO) are now surfacing these sites.

Manual Technical SEO Without Premium Plugins
Problem
Free SEO plugins (Yoast, RankMath) have feature caps. Full Schema markup, canonical control, and AEO-readiness required paid upgrades that weren't in budget.
Strategy
Hand-coded all SEO meta tags, Schema markup (JSON-LD), canonical logic, and heading hierarchy using pure PHP in functions.php and custom theme templates. Validated with Google's Rich Results Test and Schema.org validator.
Result
Site outperforms plugin-based competitors in SERP. Bing Copilot now answers queries about the client using the site. Traffic sourced from Japan, France, Singapore confirmed in GA4.
Room Availability System with WhatsApp Integration
Problem
Property owner needed a dynamic room availability page inside WordPress — but the backend dashboard ran a separate PHP/MySQL config that would conflict with WP's database layer.
Strategy
Built a custom PHP dashboard with its own config, then created an isolated config-bridge to call dashboard data inside WordPress page templates without DB conflicts. Added dual-action form: one submit sends WhatsApp message + logs prospect to admin dashboard.
Result
Fully operational. Boarding house went from unfilled (23 rooms) to regularly fully occupied. Prospect tracking automated. Zero manual follow-up required on initial inquiry.
Each project here reflects a core capability: problem-solving at the intersection of
technical SEO, custom development, and strategic content.
No premium plugins. No page builders. Every solution is built from code, tested against real SERP data,
and validated through tools like GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Schema validator, and redirect checkers.
